Day 4: McLauchlan's Madeira Beach Clean Up for 2021: New Year's Day

 Day 4: .99 lbs.

SO many deadlines on Jan 4! My best time to work is very early, before anyone else is awake. Still, I needed to take a walk and get some fresh air. Brought a mug of coffee and a bag, and did the same route (to public beach and back).

Q: What would I be able to collect at low tide?

A: Lots of these plastic cartridges about to be swept out to sea. (And had to wrestle a seagull, who was trying to eat that piece of plastic, which was crumpled in a ball)

Already I am getting ideas for arts/crafts with our collection. In the meantime, we will try to be more artful with our display of what we find on a daily basis. Looking forward to this challenge for 2021~

Today there was a lot of this "sea pork" washed up on the shore
